Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of this website and any accommodation booking or stay at Coastal on View (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing the website or making a booking, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

2. Use of Website

The website provides information about our accommodation and allows you to make or manage a booking.
You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation.
You agree not to use this site for unlawful purposes or to interfere with its normal operation.

3. Bookings and Payments

All bookings must be made through our official platforms (e.g. Airbnb or direct contact via our website).
A valid payment method and identification may be required at the time of booking.
Prices and availability may change until a booking is confirmed.
A confirmed booking constitutes a binding agreement between you (the guest) and Coastal on View under these Terms.

4. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in and check-out times are stated in your booking confirmation.
Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to approval and may incur additional fees.
Guests must vacate the property by the stated check-out time to allow cleaning and preparation for incoming guests.

5. House Rules

By booking and staying at the property, guests agree to comply with all house rules provided before or at check-in, including but not limited to:

No smoking, no parties, and no pets.
Respect neighbouring residents and maintain noise levels between 22:00 and 8:00.
Only the number of registered guests on the booking may stay overnight.
Keep the property clean and report any damage immediately.

Failure to comply may result in termination of stay without refund and/or additional charges for damages, cleaning, or breaches of rules.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

For bookings made on third-party platforms (e.g., Airbnb), the cancellation terms of that platform apply.
Direct bookings are subject to our cancellation policy provided at the time of reservation.
Refunds, where applicable, will be issued using the same payment method used for the original booking.

7. Damage, Loss, and Security Deposit

Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required after their stay.
Costs may be charged directly or deducted from the security deposit(if applicable).
Lost or unreturned keycards will incur a replacement fee of AUD $30.

8. Liability

Guests use the property and its facilities at their own risk.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death resulting from the use of the property, unless caused by our negligence.
We are not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings or valuables.

9. Maintenance and Access

We may enter the property at reasonable times for maintenance, inspections, or urgent issues. Guests will be notified beforehand whenever practicable.

10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, power outages, government restrictions, or transport disruptions.

11. Privacy

We handle all personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Personal data is used only for booking management, verification, and guest communication.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Queensland.
